Events Program

 

The OBS has returned to in-person events but continues to provide online access to all those who cannot attend in person.

If you would like to receive Zoom links for OBS Events, you must be subscribed to the OBS Newsletter.   If you are not already subscribed, please complete the form on this page.

There are two Friday Evening Meetings per month.  The first, usually scheduled on the first Friday of each month, is held online.  The second, usually held on the third Friday of each month, takes place in person at Quaker House, 91A, Fourth Avenue.  The Saturday Day of Mindfulness, taking place on the following day, is held in-person at the Tu An Pagoda, 3591 Albion Road, Ottawa South.

We very much hope that you will be able to attend in-person OBS events as we look forward to seeing members and friends, both new and old and to strengthening connections within the OBS community.

The Saturday Day of Mindfulness includes a pot-luck vegetarian lunch. The lunch provides a beautiful opportunity to offer sustenance to the teacher and for participants to share a meal together. For those intending to stay for the lunch, please bring a vegetarian dish that can be shared. Utensils will be provided.

  • March 1: Friday Evening Meeting – online only with Ajahn Sona
