He found a note in a book that said "what is not the practice?" he reflects on his experience of unwholesome layers falling away and draws upon Ajahn Jayasaro's analogy of the story of questioning Michelangelo's process of sculpting a prancing horse: the parts that are not the prancing horse, fall away.
